Just because you have a home that is located right in the forest does not meant that you have lost all conveniences. You can find a Circle K right in Heber, which is only a short drive away. Several restaurants are also located in Heber and Overgaard. There are also great places to eat right in the community. Bugles Grazing and Guzzling, and the Rim Resort offer you some dining out opportunities. Several different gas stations are in Heber/Overgaard as well. For larger shopping needs you may choose to drive into Payson or Show Low. Both locations have many retail stores for you to shop at ranging from Wal-Mart to local specialty shops. Forest Lakes even has a well-stocked public library that provides the community with many different activities throughout the year as well.
